The physical photograph is a powerful thing. Once, getting your photos developed was a weekly ritual. It was always a thrill, waiting to see how they’d come out! We’d document whole lived lives in those regal-looking thick padded photo albums with the sticky black paper (watch those bubbles when you close up the plastic sheet – it was a fine art, getting that right). A physical process of memory making that is still as relevant today as it ever was, although now, a little less accessible to most.

Boft aims to close the gap between the convenience of the infinite camera roll and the absolute tactile delight of holding a high-quality photo print in your hands. With Boft’s exceptionally easy-to-use app, you can print physical photographs directly from your camera roll on any device, anytime, anyplace. Print to a nearby BOFT kiosk or get them delivered to you, wherever you are.

THE   CONCEPT

AVA was briefed to help BOFT in the development of a few important elements of their brand CI. The project included conceptualising a new fresh colour palette, website design and some animation. The result is a wholesome, delightful new look and feel, a website which is both high-functioning and beautiful to look at, as well as a lovely animated explainer video which brings home just how easy to use Boft really is.
